Circular Tube Type Enclosed Spiral Feeding Machine for Dust Particle Mixing and Ash Conveying

From the perspective of material displacement direction, screw conveyors are divided into two main types: horizontal screw conveyors and vertical screw conveyors. Screw conveyors with conveying chains made of high-strength plastic are also known as food screw conveyors or spiral elevators, mainly suitable for conveying large items such as cartons, turnover boxes, and bottled water. Depending on the characteristics of the materials to be conveyed and structural differences, screw conveyors include horizontal screw conveyors, vertical screw conveyors, flexible screw conveyors, and spiral tube (roller conveyor) conveyors.

       The spiral tube conveyor features continuous spiral blades welded inside a cylindrical casing, with both the casing and the spiral blades rotating together. The added materials, due to centrifugal force and friction, rotate with the casing and are lifted. Under the force of gravity, the materials then slide down along the spiral surface, causing them to rotate with the spiral tube and thereby achieving forward movement of the materials. This is similar to a non-rotating screw moving translationally along a rotating nut, achieving the purpose of conveying materials. This machine has low energy consumption and low maintenance costs; when feeding from the end, it can adapt to uneven feeding requirements and simultaneously fulfill various process requirements such as conveying, mixing, and blending. Even with excessive material input, it does not cause blockages. It facilitates multi-point loading and unloading and can convey materials at higher temperatures. It is suitable for horizontally conveying high-temperature materials and has good adaptability for processes involving high temperatures, uneven feeding, requirements for preventing breakage and contamination, and the need for multi-point loading and unloading. Practical experience has shown good results in conveying materials such as cement clinker, dry limestone, phosphate rock, ilmenite powder, coal, and slag. The particle size of materials added from the end feed inlet must not exceed 1/4 of the screw diameter; for materials added from the intermediate feed inlet, the particle size must not exceed 30 mm. To prevent deformation of the cylinder, the feeding temperature must be controlled below 300°C. This machine experiences severe wear on the blades and trough when conveying highly abrasive materials.
